- North Campus Master Plan Update
Lewis & Clark College, Portland, OR
Completed in 2000
As part of an interdisciplinary team, THA and Walker Macy explored opportunities to site new facilities within Lewis & Clark College's North Campus, the academic heart of the college. The design creates a vision for the future that reinforces the principles established in the original master plan and capitalizes on new opportunities. The master plan focuses on the revitalization of the Albany Quadrangle and open space patterns. The scale and siting of the Howard Center for the Social Sciences and the phasing options for the academic green confirm the direction for the next phase in the master plan's implementation. THA subsequently designed the renovation and addition of the Albany Quadrangle as well as the Howard Center for the Social Science.
