THA Architecture is working with the City of Santa Cruz to design and develop the Monterey Bay National Marine Sanctuary Visitor Center (MBNMS). The Center is to be a dynamic destination of discovery through an integration of exhibits, creation of educational experiences, architecture and the natural setting. It will establish the City of Santa Cruz as a gateway to the MBNMS through design which enhances the region's existing cultural and educational facilities. Developed with LEED® standards, the building will provide maximum environmental, economic and community benefits while leaving a memorable experience for visitors to California's Central Coast.
