The three-building Montessori School complex houses elementary and primary classrooms, administrative offices, a covered play and sports area, a playground and a dropoff/pickup site. Each classroom has a private terrace with covered and open outside areas overlooking a central courtyard. The goal of the project was to design a facility where children experience the "joy of learning as self-development and discovery." THA worked closely with the faculty, administration, Board of Directors and students to design a building which truly represents the spirit of a Montessori education.
